 Ever heard of Art Therapy?

Art therapy is a form of therapy that uses art as the primary form of therapeutic expression. Therapists in this field can help their clients interpret and understand their feelings and emotions through the art that they create. The actual process of creating art is therapeutic in and of itself. It’s about the process and not the end product. It’s not about making “good” art or “happy” art. This is art from the inside and it’s not always going to look “pretty”.

How Art therapy Works?

HEALING WITH ARTS

  • There was a time when i was angry, i was depressed and nothing seems to make any sense with me. My body felt heavy and my senses dull. I felt my life to be falling apart. And from that moment i started making pictures, i started putting colors on papers and i had no idea what i was doing at that time. And then as i got worse, my pain got worse. I thought of putting my pain onto paper through painting. So went to the store I bought brushes, i bought tubes and paper. And i said to myself “I’m going to paint”.

She’s broken, she’s hurt and everything seems so dull and that’s exactly how i felt. And i expressed these through my paintings. And that’s how i captured my pain through art.
